Public speaking is commonly understood as face-to-face speaking between individuals and an audience for the purpose of communication.

Tuesdays with Morrie

Mitchell David Albom, is an American best selling author, journalist, screenwriter, broadcaster and musician.

One of his stories is “Tuesdays With Morrie”, a very good and inspiring story.

This is about  how you are going to face your near death without asking God why this things happened to you instead accepting it and realize the meaning of life.

“As long as we can love each other, and remember the feeling of love we had, we can die without ever really going away. All the love you created is still there. All the memories are still there. The word "immoral" is normally used to describe persons or actions. In a broader sense it can be applied to groups or corporate bodies, beliefs, religions, and works of art. To say that some act is immoral is to say that violates some moral laws, norms or standards.

I have this experience that really hurts me and I know that can not be easily forgotten by my broken heart.

Being a single parent is like having a low position in our society, some may understand but mostly, others will mocked and judge you.

Immorality, the worst word I heard in my entire life, in whatever way you want it to say, it still hurts my emotion, to understand that people have different way of thinking is hard for me to do during that time.

I remember, over a year ago, I was applying in one of the supermarket in Pasig. I go with their process, from screening up to the several interviews and examination in just one day. I did pass those processes but as the General Manager interviewed us, I failed because of my status; they can’t accept me because their establishment has a code of conduct to be followed.

That’s the worst day ever in my life. It’s their rule. They have to follow.

That day, questions came into my mind, why these things happened to me, questioning God why I am in this situation crossed my mind, is in it discrimination?

We cannot please anybody.  We can’t control their way of thinking. Life must go on, in every chapter of our life we should get the lesson to be learned.

Friends of Mine

Friendship…is not something you learn in school, but if you haven’t learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven’t learned anything.

I can’t remember when everything started, how everything started and why we are bonded. But one thing   is sure, I enjoy every little moment we shared, the laughter’s we do, stupid things we had, the crazy jokes we throw to each other and arguments we had that made our friendship grow.

In our life we met millions of people with different characteristics, some stay and go, we never know who are true to among the rest, but I know I got the best.

Political Dynasty Reign Still

Political Family is not necessarily a secure position. Some prominent political clans suffered more crushing blow during elections.

 

AQUINO. The ruling liberal party announced the running of Bam Aquino for the Philippine Senate in 2013 national and local elections, is the cousin of Pres. Aquino. The Aquino area political dynasty, in Tarlac provincial politics as well as in national politics. This implies a prolonged political romance of the Aquino’s with the people.

 

BINAY. Nancy Binay candidacy and almost sure entry into the senate should serve as an inspiration for all the “unknowns” with moist eyes for the Senate seat. The neophytes Senators family is one of the known political dynasties in the country.  Vice President Jejomar Binay, as the city mayor for several years before being elected as the second highest executive official in the land.

 

ESTRADA. San Juan has been the Estrada families known political bailiwick after Joseph won the mayoral seat several decades ago and was succeeded by his son Jinggoy and then JV, whose mother, Guia Gomez seats as the current mayor of the city.

Ones heritage counts a lot in the shaping of one’s philosophy in life and personal ethics, family origins could also very well determine ones class loyalty. What we need this time is diversity, not just of beliefs and ideologies, but also of the experiences and world views-and families-that shape them.
